Body language speaks volumes and to a woman the manner in which a man carries himself will influence her decision and reaction towards him, which means, she will either be attracted to him or not. Therefore, a man who exerts confidence in his demeanour will increase a great deal of attention from the opposite sex.

Understand your body language especially when dealing with women. If you are on a first date and looking to make an impression, being all nervous and edgy will most likely not get you a second date. Women prefer being on a date with a man who simulates confidence, it's rather unnerving for a woman to be out on a date with a man who is not only shy but has bad conversation skills, who is clearly uncomfortable, constantly shifting in his chair or fidgeting with the cutlery and even worse still when he is not audible enough when making an order.
These factors will influence what she thinks and feels about you and unfortunately she is bound to lose her attraction for you.

A man who understands his body language will know that whatever he does will not pass unnoticed. Therefore, simulating confidence and maintaining eye contact when on a date, assures the woman that the man is comfortable with himself. When a man takes a woman on his first date he should be relaxed and seated straight up on his chair. He should be confident when making an order and should be vocal enough to be heard by the waiter. During the conversation he should be attentive to what the woman is saying and should show interest in the conversation engaging her occasionally to give an opinion.

Smiling constantly during the entire date creates a light mood and it is always advisable to throw in a joke to make the conversation even more interesting, you will notice that the woman will also be more engaging because you have created the perfect atmosphere where she feels comfortable. The date is bound to go very smoothly if she enjoys your company and therefore it is likely that she will accept your offer of a second date.

Dating should not be dull and boring; it should be an exciting experience. If you realise that most women reject your offer of a second date, that means, you did not make a very good impression the first time and this should push you to make a few changes.

Evaluate yourself and have a self awareness of how you carry yourself. Ask your most trusted friends who you feel are honest with you to advise you on what to change so as to boost your self-confidence when with women. Assess your qualities and use them to your advantage. Different women are attracted to men with different qualities therefore you will always find at least one woman who will be attracted to you because she admires your qualities.

Physical attractiveness is always a plus point but not a necessity and usually you will find that men who are over-confident about attracting the opposite sex using their good looks have very poor manners and conversation skills. Regardless of your physical statue, understanding your body language will get you further ahead after your first date
